The Owen Sound Lacrosse Endowed Fund Is Up And Running Again!!!

For new lacrosse parents, this fund started in 1995 and has been run by Minor, Junior B and the Seniors over the years. It has a core of 80 lacrosse fans that have been in it for years.

Each entry gets a random score each game for 25 Toronto Maple Leaf games. Cost per entry is $50 and the payout is $25 if the first period score is matched, $25 for the second period, and $50 for the correct final score. If it's a tie game it's $25 for the tie and another $25 for the eventual winner. Hence there are 25 $50 prizes and 50 $25 prizes up for grabs.

If you don't win you will receive a #50 receipt from the Community Foundation for your 2022 income taxes.

FYI the Endowed Fund was established in late 2014 and so far we have donated over $11,400 to mainly Minor and Junior B Lacrosse in the form of purchased floor time from the city. This helps to keep registration fees low. As of December 31st, 2021 our Ending Fund Balance with the Community Foundation was just over $73,000. This money is invested and the interest/capital gains funds your floor time purchases.
