Maple Stix
The purpose of MapleStix is to encourage players who want to play university lacrosse to consider Canadian university options and get to know Ontario university coaches (or at least keep their options open). The camp's instructors are the head coaches of the OUA universities! This past year 15 MapleStix 2024s elected to play in the OUA instead of going south of the border, more than double last year's number! The OUA has many advantages that we might overlook or forget once the NCAA recruitment machine gets into gear.
This event is open and communicated to all players in Ontario, and the Stephen Leacock facility has limited space. We will sell out, and it is first come, first serve. Here is the link with registration instructions.
Baggataway Cup 2024
The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association Championships are being held this November 1st-3rd in St.Catharines, Ontario.
Brock University, who will be competing that weekend have reached out to OSML with an offer on discounted tickets to the games. $5 for players and coaches, and 25% off regular price for everyone else.

Girls Field Lacrosse Banquet
Our annual Northstars Girl’s Field Lacrosse Banquet will be taking place on August 15th from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound.
We will be celebrating another successful year of Northstar’s girls field lacrosse and teams will be handing out awards for their Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player and Coaches Choice.
