REP BOX
-
“Rep” is short for “Representative”, as in the teams that represent the club in competitions with other clubs. Ow n Sound offers Rep programs in Box Lacrosse, Field Lacrosse, and Women’s Field Lacrosse. Players must be residentially bound to the club to play Rep.
In age divisions where there are enough players interested in Rep, a second Rep team is also established. Rep teams are rated annually from “A” to “E” and participate in league play and provincials under the Ontario Lacrosse Association.
Rep Box is introduced at U7 while Rep Field and Women’s Field are introduced at U9.

To check your next closest center, complete the Where Do I Play? form on the Ontario Lacrosse website.

U13-U22 Girls Box NORTH STARS
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 Girls Box Lacrosse season! To make this a success and ensure we can plan effectively, we need your help:
What We’re Asking:
Please register your player as soon as possible to show your interest—but do not complete payment at this time.
Why? If the program does not move forward, the $50 non-refundable fee (which covers insurance through Canada Lacrosse and Ontario Lacrosse) cannot be refunded if the program doesn’t run.
When you register, the system will show “not paid,” which is exactly what we need for now. Simply close or save the payment screen.
Registering early helps us:
Plan the season effectively, including practices and tournament scheduling.
Align Box Lacrosse schedules with Girls Field Lacrosse schedules.
Here’s What We Know So Far:
Game Travel: Likely destinations include Guelph, Centre Wellington, Arthur, and Kitchener, with games typically held during the week.
Possible Tournaments:
May 24 – Kitchener
June 28 – Whitby
July 7 – Gloucester and Wallaceburg
Provincials: August 5–7 in Oshawa- To qualify for Provincial Championships, teams must play at least 10 games, including one tournament (with at least one outside our Zone). Kitchener is in our zone.
